Thurs. Feb. 14 Of course, you could go out for a nice romantic dinner. It's Valentine's Day. But Boston Babydolls MC, Ol' Scratch, is offering a different kind of V-Day option Thursday Feb. 14 at T.T. the Bear's Place. He's calling it "A Big Top Full of R omance," or "Carnaval d'Amour," and what that translates to is "a modern blending of burlesque, carnival, circus and cabaret." These sorts of shows are becoming increasingly popular. This night, which starts at 9 and costs $15 at the door ($10 in advance) features the Babydolls - including Miss Mina, Betty Blaize and Honey Do (possibly not their real names) and cirucs and variety acts that include Dominuqe Immora (also a Babydoll), stiltwalker Michelle Jeffalone, object manipulator (uh, magician?) Baz and juggler Johnny Cakes. Ol' Scratch will host the proceedings and no doubt swallow a sword or two in the process. 10 Brookline St., Cambridge, 617-492-0082 www.ttthebears.com
