Community Servings has long been one of favorite grassroots charities. They deliver over 3000 meals a week to 700 individuals or families who are shut-ins because of illness. And, from point of view of those of us who can get out, Community Servings puts on swell, fun fundraisers ... like what they're doing Wednesday Feb. 6 at Azure. Blues - of course, get it, azure - inspired food from chef Robert Fathman and cocktails and beer from Reyka Vodka and Samuel Adams beer. The event takes place from 6-9 p.m. and runs $50. (That includes your food and bar.) There will be various charity raffles, and the good vibe created by CS and Azure should be enough to lure you indoors (by choice) in the dead of winter. Warm up, do good, mix, mingle.
