                                                                                                 Sunday Sept. 17

If you're like us, you wake up bright and early Sunday morning and say, "Boy, I sure could use some opera music and maybe even an opera-oriented film to start my day!" Somebody at the Coolidge Corner Theatre was thinking that way recently because on Sunday Sept. 17 the quirky venue launches "Divas in the Dark: Opera for Movie-lovers'', a six-part Sunday series that begins with - but of course - "Madame Butterfly." Preceding this will be a live mini performance and/or an introduction by an opera educator from Boston Lyric Opera. Not only that, the bagel shop across the street, Finagle-a-Bagel will suppy refreshments. It starts at 11 a.m. and it's just $9.50. (The next happening is in November and then we go into the new year.)
