Ever since "Sideways" turned onto the joys of wine-making and tasting, we've been out there every time. No, not really, and we don't drink it by the barrel and pour it all over ourselves either. (Most times.) But we do enjoy wine-tasting, for that little buzz, that little glow of sophistication, and that little glint of knowledge. Panzano has  a tasting Friday Sept. 21 from 5-7 p.m. - a "Vino Nobile Tasting" - with Miriam Caporali, Owner and General Manager of the Tenuta Valdipiata Estate, Montepulciano, Tuscany. Which means she'll explain what she and her people do while you enjoy what she and her people do. Maybe you'll take home a bottle or case. At the least, it should be a pleasant drop-by. Free.
