Sun. Sept. 9 We usually don't make these kind of bold statements, especially one that might seem negative at the outset, but stay with us ... We will definitely not be attending Samarra's dance performance at the Zumix Harvest Festival at Piers Park on S unday Sept. 9. This is because we - in this sense, not the royal we, but myself and Roza Yarchun - will be getting married at Larz Anderson Park in Brookline. A pretty meaningful day, y'know. But if you're not there, you might want to check out Samarra's performance as part of the Madcap Rumus Society, along with Emperor Norton's Stationery Marching Band. Samarra, one of our favorite dancers, promises "live, raucous, circus/vaudeville-style music and traditional circus performers" from 2-4 p.m. Samarra: "You can expect great summer activities like pie eating contests, potato sack races and face painting. Zumixis a great non-profit organization dedicated to empowering youth to use music to be a force of change in their lives and their communities." No admission charge. And Samarra - no rest for those with wicked moves - is at the Middle East Bakery, dancing at 10 p.m. later that night. Also free. Piers Park, 202 Maverick St., E.
