Fri. Sept. 21 So, the ICA is a nightclub now? No, it isn't, but consider this program for Friday Sept. 21: Heartthrob starts the evening at 8 with a multi-media set of music etc. in the museum's theater and then DJ Scientific (that's part of him in the photo) takes over in the lobby, with co mplimentary food provided by Wolfgang Puck's people. This is not your father's art museum, but then again, even in its old space on Boylston St., it wasn't either. The ICA has always emphasized the "contemporary" part of its name and had a most expansive use of the term "art." Art can be living and breathing, not just hung on the wall or sculpted. Of course, it can be that, too. But the Institute of Contemporary Art continues on its course to bring in the widest demographic possible - very much including people who aren't drawn to museums by nature. This is all good. Tickets for this: $15. 100 Northern Ave., 617-478-3100 www.icaboston.org
