A Rocker Looks Back at Her Life on the Road Print E-mail
Wednesday, 22 August 2007

Wed. Aug. 22

Laurie Lindeen led the Minneapolis rock band Zuzu's Petals for seven years, up through the mid-'90s. Along the way, she was hit was MS, got married to former Replacements leader Paul Westerberg, and had a son, Johnny. She also wrote a book about her life. It's called "Petal Pusher: A Rock and Roll Cinderella Story," and it deals with her life as it moves from high-school cheerleader to disillusioned rocker to wife-and-mom. Lindeed is out on the road promoting the book, playing music and reading at the Harvard Coop Wednesday August 22 at 7 p.m. It's free.
