Punk Rock Photos and More at ZuZu! Print E-mail
Aug 13, 2007 at 12:00 AM

ongoing- Sept. 1

John "E. Coli" Nikolai - one of our favorite punk rock-plus photos - will be staging his last solo art show in the Boston area "if not forever than for years and years and years." Say it ain't so, John? Or, say, why? We emailed him back so maybe we'll have an answer soon. But here's what he tells us about this exhibition at ZuZu!, which kicked off with an Unnatural Axe gig Aug. 6. "It's called ASK YOUR MOM HOW MUCH I ROCK and includes photos of the Sex Pistols, Joe Strummer (in photo) Joey and Dee Dee Ramone, Lightning Bolt, Iggy Pop, Alison Little naked on the streets of Providence about to have her leg sawed off by a giant bunny rabbit, my infrared photo of a zebra trying tohave sex with a giraffe in Mexico City, 'The Severed Head Of John The Baptist In the Clouds,' and lots more." Runs through Sept. 1 Free. You can of course have a lovely drink and/or enjoy the cuisine at a slight extra charge.
