Sat. March 31 The Museum of Fine Arts music program has certainly done an excellent job in finding artists who fit loosely into the "rock" realm, but fit just as comfortably in a fine arts theater as in a c lub. Maybe more so. That would seem the case with the Icelandic quartet, Amiina, four women who've served as Sigur Ros' string section and are now touring on their own. Strings are dominant, but these gals also incorporate harmoniums, guitars (acoustic and electric), glockenspiel, a laptop, a musical toothless saw and tuned water glasses - cheekily called a "glassophone" by the women. They also make vocal sounds, though we'd have to say they're not more lyrically minded than Sigur Ros is. The whole idea is to get swept up in the majesty of the sound - remember Cocteau Twins? - and allow beauty to enter your world for an evening. Songs tend to begin with one instrument, and then the melodic line is sampled and looped while the others pick up various instruments as they move about the stage and blend up to 12 strands into the sonic stew. At the Remis Auditorium at the MFA's Remis Auditorium Saturday March 31. At 7:30 p.m. Tickets: $25. 465 Huntington Ave., 617-267-9300 mfa.org
