Tues. Feb. 20 "Let's get the party started! Let's get the party started!" Andrew W.K. hit our consciousness in 2002 with his "I Get Wet" major album debut, essentially a c oncept album about partying hard. Andrew was almost like the early Ramones in his dedication to a cause, however narrow and hedonistic that cause was. (Hey, we're hardly condemning that here. There's just a degree of humor in such relentlessness. And we didn't even know Andrew had a previous indy release called "Party 'Til You Puke," a take-off no doubt on Root Boy Slim & the Sex Change Band's "Boogie 'Til You Puke," a mid-'70s classic in - well - my dorm room and on WMEB-FM, where I DJ'd.) Andrew has a show promoed by Throwed! at Harpers Ferry Tuesday Feb. 20, with Therefore I Am and A Loss for Words. Also: Dj work from Spencer Sweeney, Chris Devlin, E-Marce, Dimitri and Andrew himself. The whole thing starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are $10. The promoters do want us to mention Andrew is performing solo, sans band. 158 Brighton Ave., Allston, 617254-7380 harpersferry.com
