Lock & Key: Hookup at Lir for V-Day Print E-mail
Feb 14, 2007 at 12:00 AM

Wed. Feb. 14

Didn't we see this in "The Ice Storm?" A bunch of suburban couples toss their keys in a bowl and the someone of the opposite sex chooses a key randomly and then, you know, whoopee happens. That must be - at least sort of, or ironically, or tongue-in-cheek-like - the theme behind the phallically suggestive  "Lock and Key Party" at Lir on Valentine's Day. Single guys are given keys; single gals get locks and then - with alcohol involved no doubt - they spend the night trying to find the perfect fit. Pay your $10 to get in and you get complimentary appetizers and chocolate-covered strawberries.
