Sun. Feb. 18 The politically active Bread and Puppet Theater concludes a serie s of performances today. Since Thursday, they've put on shows that were part of the Boston Center for the Arts Cultural Partners Series. B & P's artistic director Peter Schumann and his troupe of five Vermont puppeteers will join forces with 25 local puppeteers and the 15-piece locally based Second Line Social Aid and Pleasure Society Brass Band to create two differnet puppet shows - one aimed at adults, the other family friendly. There's also a political art symposium and a political art exhibit. That would include "Wal-Mart Exorcism" and "5 Excerpts From Everything Under the Sun." The gallery (free) is open 11 a.m.-6 p.m. "The Battle of the Terrorists and the Horrorists,' a black and white puppet affair (more or less) about the US war against terror. The Horrorists are led by two gods, the God of Everything and the God of Nothing and they lead the numb citizenry on a road to a genocidal war. Sounds like fun, huh? That's tonight at 7 p.m. ($12). There is also a 2 p.m. matinee for the "Everything Is Fine Circus," ($10) This is the family-friendly one. More details at the website below. 539 Tremont St., 866-811-4111 bcaonline.org
