Sun. Dec. 17 It's not totally a Christmas concert, but Aimee Mann is in a Christmas sort of way, recording "The Christmas Song," "White Christmas" and "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" among others for her latest disc, "One More Drifter in the Snow." (Mann used to sing "Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire'' years ago at a multi-act Boston holiday show. Wonderfully melancholic.) And she'll bring both her Christmas material and her deep back catalog to Berklee Performance Center Sunday Dec. 17 at 7:30. (Mann attended Berklee back in the day, when she formed her pre-'Til Tuesday art-punk band Young Snakes.) Mann had huge success with 'Til Tuesday during the new wave era with "Voices Carry." Her solo career has been hit-and-miss, but she's always written intelligent, moody songs and displayed a sharp wit in concert. This show is nearly sold out, but a few pairs and solo tickets remain at $35 and $29. Starts at 7:30 p.m. 1400 Massachusetts Ave., 617-266-1400 berklee.edu
