Mon. Nov. 27 T.T. the Bear's Place recently had the area debut by Albert Hammond, Jr. of the Strokes and now it has the area debut by Roger O'Donnell, the former keyboard player for the Cure and the Psychedelic Furs. Nothing wrong with this. T.T.'s is a perfect sized club in which to see someone who may not be the main man of the hip group but a key contributor nonetheless. Lord knows, mind you, what the state of the ever-volatile Cure and Furs are these days and are either still actually bands? The answer could have been yes and no over the past couple of decades. But if you like the sounds and moods of those two bands - which ranged from poppy to gloomy, from atmospheric to cynical and snarling - you might take a gamble on O'Donnell who plays with Matters & Dunaway Monday Nov. 27, with the show starting at 9 p.m. Tickets: $10. 10 Brookline St., Cambridge, 617-492-0082 ttthebears.com
