You've got a couple of hooks here: Music written in the 17th century, Italy and music written in this century, inspired by that music. The living composer is Patricia Van Ness. It's all to be performed Sunday Nov. 19 at 4 p.m. at Forest Hills Cemetery's Forsyth Chapel by Cappella Clausura. That name means something - clausurae means cloisters and this group specializes in highlighting music by female composers, often against the wishes of the dominant males. You'll hear sacred music and madrigals by the likes of Vittoria Aleotti, Lucrezia Vizzana and Sulpitia Cesis from the 12-member Cappella Closura. Tickets: $15.
