Cook What You Eat at Davio's: An Hour Behind the Grill Print E-mail
Jul 21, 2012 at 12:00 AM

Sat. July 21

Davio's has long been one of favorite dining spots/hangs, very much so when it was on upper Newbury Street and Tommy Forti was the bartender upstairs, mixing the most delicious of martinis (vSodka and Cointreau). Downstairs, impeccableDavio's Grill food and service from Steve DiFillipo and company. All that remains (save Tommy) at the - as I call it - new location - on Arlington Street. Davio's has only continued to grow, prosper and, as they say, expand the brand over the years, and Saturday July 21 they want to bring you inside the kitchen for a cooking session called Learn the Grill, with instruction provided by Executive Chef Steve Brown and Corporate Chef Rodney Murillo. You get coffee and biscotti upon arrival (11 a.m.) and then an hour's worth of demonstration and instruction from those masters of the grill, with the food paired with wine. This'll run you $165, which is made better by Davio's giving you a $100 voucher to go, grilling sauces and marinades and four recipes to try at home, when you become the Top Chef of your flat.Interested?
