Blue October: Not in November Print E-mail
Nov 07, 2006 at 12:00 AM

Nov. 12

Just a quick note: We've had a piece up here for a couple of weeks touting Blue October, a moody, evocative Texas band, but we've got to tell you the bad news now: Their Nov. 12 Axis was scrapped because of a leg injury suffered by singer Justin Furstenfeld. After being admitted to the emergency room in Grand Rapids, Mich. the morning of Nov. 7 it was determined he had damaged the bone and ligaments from a previous injury and needed to return home to be evaluated by the doctor who performed the original surgery. Boston is one of five tour dates to be cancelled, though the hope is to reschedule them. Refunds at point of purchase.
