Orchestrotica Mini at Think Tank Print E-mail
Jul 09, 2010 at 12:00 AM

Not Fri. July 9 (This show has been postponed to a later date. Stay tuned.)

"It's not over until the vibraphone motor stops spinning!" So Mr. Ho e-mails us about his band Orchestrotica, which will be playing Friday July 9 at Mr. Ho's Orchestroticaa new Kendall Square club called Think Thank. (Think while you drink? Hmmm, interesting concept.) Mr. Ho explains his friend (and ours) Brother Cleve (ex-Del Fuegos, Combustible Edison, the Singhs, dj extraordinare, expert drink-mixer) id promoting a new tiki night at Think Tank. "This is a brand new club I have yet to go to," says Ho. "Apparently, there will be great cocktails happening, and luckily for us, they are bringing in some real exotica music. This Friday, that'll be the sounds of the Orchestrotica Mini (Jason, Geni, Noriko, and yours truly). They'll be playing their space age bachelor pad music, bringing the sounds of Esquivel to a new generation of martini swillers and hipsters.
