Perhaps There Is a Game You Should Watch Print E-mail

Sunday, 1 p.m.

Ah, yes. Round One. The first round? The final round? Opinions are mixed on the potential outcome - some of diehards are very worried despite the Pats 5-point spread - but the nervousnessness sets in all over again as the sans-Welker sem-hometown team (Foxboro is out home, no?) battle the Ravens (nevermore! sorry bad, old joke) at the old Razor at 1 p.m. If you're among the fortunate, you don't have tickets and will be watching in the comfort of home (or your favorite sports bar) on that wide-screen. If you're at Gillette - and we've been there, believe us - you'll be watching the big screen video after the scrum on the field and wishing you weren't so damn cold. That 's the nature of football and why it's  a far better game on TV, and a mystery as to why so many show up to see it and shiver.

on TV, WBZ, Channel 4, on your couch
