Sat. Nov. 15 Debra Cash, a freelance colleague at the Boston Phoenix, wrote this about dancer Ana Isabel Keilson: "The details of Kielson's [work] ... read like 'Firebird' played au naturel. She danced with the carefee autonomy of a wild creature ... Keilson still a diva all right, grown up into a smashing perofmrer." Keilson, raised in Maine (yes, I'll wave the flag a bit for anyone who makes it out of the old home state), is a New Yorker and she brings her show, called "Ana Isabel Keilson and Collaborators" - that would include Rebecca Lubart and Devika Wickrmemesinghe - to Green Street Studio Saturday Nov. 15 at 8. (Keilson formerly taught at the GSS.) What's the new dance, "Forward" - called "an informal evening of work" - about? Evolution. Not that we believe in it, of course, but she apparently does and the dance explores evolution in both the human world and the animal kingdom. The original score was written by Joshua Hudelson, who manipulates sound from the natural world and provides acoustic accompaniment, with the intent to transport the audience along with the dance with, as they say, "with the sublime force of life." Keilson will also perform a solo work, "Tidal Perch," which relates humans and birds. The performance will be followed by a discussion moderated by Daniel McCusker. Tickets: $12. 185 Green Street, 617-864-3191 www.greenstreetstudio.org
