Thurs. Oct. 30 As you'll be noticing, a lot of rock bands like to play dressup on Halloween, but not as sexy nurses, zombies and vampires - well, some do - but as OTHER bands, formative ban ds, cool bands from another erea. Well, dead bands, a lot of them. Quality always varies, but we're psyched to see what Team Shred - that's longtime Boston booker-dj Shred - has put together at Church for the Thurs. Oct. 30. the night before Halloween. Headlining: Destroy Babylon, perfomring the entirety of the Clash's "London Calling" album, which coming on the heels of the Clash's "Live at Shea Stadium" CD seems quite pertinent. Also on the bill: The Macrotones as the JBs and the Well. Doors are at 8.
