Mon. Nov. 10 Yes, you know the name Holly Golightly as the heroine of the Truman Capote book "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and the famous movie starring Audrey Hepburn. But rock fans kn ow there's another Holly Golightly and she's the English singer-songwriter, who shows up rather frequently on our shores and does so again at the Middle East Upstairs with the Broke-offs (that would be bassist Lawyer Dave) Monday Nov. 10 with Delaney Davidson opening around 9. Holly's made a bunch of discs - 12! - on labels like Sympathy for the Record Industry and Kill Rock Stars. Her new one is titled "Dirt Don’t Hurt" and it’s full of cool low-fi skiffle/blues and alt-country-laced indie rock filtered through a punk prism. As her ace publicist Cary Baker says, "I’m sure Holly never stood by the railroad tracks in Tutwiler, MS, but you’d be surprised how authentically Southern this music sounds. Holly, appropriately, is in the process of moving from London to rural Georgia." Tickets: $12. 472 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge, 617-864-3278 www.mideastclub.com
