Wed. Nov. 19 Gil Rose's Opera Boston has an offshoot program called Opera Boston Underground. What it is: A highly successful program of putting opera music into non-traditional ven ues - like rock clubs - and it continues at the Lizard Lounge Wedensday Nov. 19, when his "informal opera cabaret" performs a show with a theme: Seven virtues. This means the program will feature songs and arias of the seven virtues, though the specific program has yet to be determined. What are those virtues? Faith, Hope, Charity, Fortitude, Justice, Prudence and Temperance. A few of those might be in order along about now. Perhaps music director Rose, and feature singerGlorivy Arroyo along with other young Company singers can fill us with inspiration in these seemingly virtue-less times. The show starts at 7:30, costs $10 and there are no advance tickets available. That's right: You've got to be out there on the sidewalk. People are. These things are surefire sellouts. And, oh yes, in early 2009, Opera Boston Underground will follow up with a “Seven Deadly Sins” themed show. 1667 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge, 617-451-3388 www.operaboston.org
