Who Screams for Ice Cream? Not Us. It's Frozen Yogurt Time in Boston this Sunday Print E-mail
Sunday, 05 October 2008

Sun. Oct. 5

Free dessert. Free good dessert. Free almost-ice cream, which is the way we look at frozen yogurt, the lower-fat alternative that still tastes yummy. Like most of the rest of the AUBerrymerica, we're more conscious about what we shove down our throat - or choose to dine upon - these days, and frozen yogurt really has taken the place of ice cream in our freezer. Out in the ice cream shop world, we've taken to our local JP Licks as our little frozen yogurt spot. But we feel compelled to alert you to what UGrill is doing this Sunday Oct. 5. The four Boston-area locations are offering up, let me get this right, gluten-free, fat-free, 90 calorie, 4 oz. servings of frozen yogurt (packed with live yogurt cultures) they call a UBerry. Just stop in during store hours and put in your request and there you go. We wonder why more restaurants don't do these kind of things. Trader Joe's has made it a trademark, and we can't tell you how many things we've brought after free sampling at the store. Anyway, if you're out and about Sunday. Locations below:

530 Washington Street, Boston (Downtown Crossing), 201 Brookline Ave, Boston (Landmark Center), 347 Great Road, Bedford , 222 Arsenal Street, Watertown
