Lo and Behold: Another Star Lights Up The Estate Print E-mail
Saturday, 13 September 2008

Sat. Sept. 13

We've long been loathe to refer to what the world calls "reality TV" as "reality TV" because, really, what's real about that world? But it's a quicker phrase than "another kiLauren "Lo" Bosworthnd of fake TV without real stars and on a low budget," so we'll just swim with the tide and call Lauren "Lo" Bosworth the star of MTV’s hit reality TV programs "Laguna Beach" and "The Hills" and roommate to fellow reality TV stars Lauren “LC” Conrad and Audrina Patridge. And we can tell you she'll be "hosting" the dance party at The Estate Saturday Sept. 13. The Estate likes bringing in pretty blonde west coast types - hey we "partied" with Paris Hilton there, this spring - and what hosting seems to mean is that the celeb gets elevatored up to a VIP lounge for media schmoozing and e like, then parties with her posse for a bit and, finally, dances on state and gets all crazy-like. At least, that's pretty much what Paris - not yet a counter-cultural hit because of the McCain TV attack and her counter-attack ad using big words - did when she showed up. The awful truth is when we spoke, she was pretty sweet and engaged, not all stuck-up and snooty. So, we're supposing Lo might just get down with the people - who can pay $20 in advance for the right - as New York DJ SL mans the wheels of steel. The doors are at 9; we wouldn't expect the guest of honor much before 11 or midnight.
