Wed. June 25 Yes , Ringo Starr was the "luckiest" Beatle - the funnyman, the foil, the guy who got in because Pete Best got sacked. But he's just about always been the most affable and he struck paydirt when he (or his people) conceived of this Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band, where Ringo anchors a group made of of, well, let's face it, rather well-known musicians past their peak in both commercial and artistic terms. They play Ringo-identified Beatles songs and hit songs from the respective band-members. It makes for a hodge-podge, but it's also a surprisingly good time. We remember seeing 'em one year when Steven Tyler came down and played drums for a bit. On Wednesday June 25, at the Bank of America Pavilion, you've got Ringo, along with Billy Squier, former Men at Work guy Colin Hay, Hamish Stuart from the AWB, Edgar Winter (of "Frankenstein" fame), Gary Wright and drummer Gregg Bissonette. It portends a lovely trip down memory lane for you and - hey - a paycheck for the old dudes. Starts at 7:30. Tickets $50-$35. 290 Northern Ave., 866-448-7849 www.livenation.com
