Girls, Guns and Glory: That Says It All, Don't It Print E-mail
Friday, 30 May 2008

Sat. May 31

We were among the judges at the WBCN Rock 'n' Roll Rumble semi-finals when Girls, Guns and Glory took their night. We didn't have them first, but it was a terrific night and tGirls, Guns and Gloryhe top three bands were separated by just a few points. They're a  alt-country/rock quartet strongly influenced by early Johnny Cash. They're playing WBCN's River Rave at 4 p.m., but you can catch a full late-night set at Church Saturday May 31. They're on just after 11. The Molenes, celebrating the release of their new CD, precede them at 10 and Shay's Rebellion open at 9. Oh, and everyone who attends the show  gets a free copy of the new Molenes CD. Tickets: $8.
