It's a Monday, the start of the working week. We think this might be a smashing way to chase those blues away: A fundraising event at the Harvard Club of Boston from 5:30-8, called "Martinis & Masterpieces." The fundraiser is for the Arts & Business Council of Greater Boston - so you've got good cause - and their pitch invites you to "kickstart your summer with an art-inspired martini or two." A martini (or two) might also loosen your wallet a bit as there will be a silent auction of artwork (and non-art items) with gourmet food and musical entertainment. The honoree is former Secretary of State Paul Guzzi (in photo), and President and CEO of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, who's contributed mightily to the A & B Council. Tickets: $150.
