First up, at 11 a.m., is La Pinata Dance Theatre, with Rosalba Solis and her troupe of child dancers taking the audience on a bilingual cultural tour of the Americas, incorporating Aztec and Mayan, as well as contemporary Latin American music, dance, drama and folklore. At 3:15, Ramon de los Reyes and his Spanish Dance Theatre immerse their audience in traditional Spanish folklore and feature the flamenco dance. Both of these are in Remis Auditorium. Also at the Remis: A film, "Kimuak: Contemporary Short Films from the Spanish Basque Region." At 2 p.m. there's a lecture from watercolorist Dania Vazquez about her journey, as a Puerto Rican woman, through her experiences in San Juan, New York and Boston.
