   Oct. 31

We might as well just declare October Halloween month and get it over with. And it's so far from being just a kids night out. It's just about every adult's favorite holiday now. There are so many themed-events and really only a night - or a weekend - in which to partake. The Boston Babydolls - one of numerous Boston burlesque troupes on the prowl - are taking the bull by the horns with its "Out for Blood" show at the Cambridge Y Theatre (inside the YMCA). You get sexy witches, of course, but also a new spin on the Lizzie Borden legend, a Mummy Dearest duet and featured act Betty Blaize will update burlesque legend Zorita's famous "Spiderweb" act in the finale. Also: Oriental dancer Samarra will join the gang and be featured  in two numbers, one as a shadowy, slinky serpent who has a thing for the snake charmer (this behind a scrim) and another a dance with Wings of Isis to "Night on Bald Mountain." The show runs Tuesdays through Saturdays all month and starts at 8 p.m. Tickets range from $50 to $15.
