More of Ms. Tunstall Print E-mail
Wednesday, 27 September 2006

                                                                                              Saturday Sept. 30.

She's played the Paradise and Avalon and now Scottish-born singer KT Tunstall is back in these parts to play and outdoor gig on Palmer Street in Harvard Square, Cambridge. It starts at noon Saturday Sept. 30 and its in conjunction with a relaunch of Origins Natrual Resources Boston area-retail locations. (There are six.) See, Tunstall - who scored big with her "Black Horse and the Cherry Tree" tune this summer - partnered with Origins in May for cross-promotion of her music and the line of wellness-based skin care products. Tunstall's music has both edginess and direct melodicism. She told us: "I really respect the tradition of the singer-songwriter, which is to take the norma, mundane - albeit paniful or joyous - stories and present them in their own way. You're rewriting cliches, really." Free.
