Mon. May 5 The Boston comedy scene is constantly changing, but one thing has remained rem arkably consistent over the years: They're very willing to do benefits - for a variety of causes. And when the cause is one of their own ... well. Boston comic Bob Lazarus is battling leukemia and Steven Wright, Barry Crimmins, Tony V, Jimmy Tingle and others are doing something about it. They held a soldout comedy show at the Regent Theatre in Arlington last night and added another for tonight, Monday May5. Meaning: Tickets - at $50-$40 - may still be available. It's a top-line array of comedy - Wright usually plays the Orpheum, for instance - and you get to not only laugh but feel good about your laughter, knowing the money's going for a good cause. They're calling it the Ding-Ho Reunion, as that's the long-gone space where Boston's comedy scene coalesced in the early 1980s, and a lot of these folks were there back then. Starts at 7:30. 7 Medford St., Arlington, 781-646-4849 www.regenttheatre.com
