The Design Salon, a group of professional women in design-related businesses meet once a month to talk about design, business and all things between and this month's meeting takes place at Jill Rosenwald’s Studio Tuesday April 29 at 7 p.m.
.It eatures two Boston local women with successful design-related businesses: Doreen Hing of Plank Designs and Michele Yeeles of Bob’s Your Uncle. Both women are former footwear designers who used to reside in the U.K and now live in the Boston area where both run their own design orientated businesses. Plank Designs is known for its cheeky, unique and beautifully designed accessories for yoga and life while Bob's Your Uncle creates note cards, planners, notebooks, placemats and more with bold and memorable sayings. What this could be: a great source of education, support and networking for local Boston business women in creative and design fields.
