All You Need Is Love: And To Tell a Good Story for the Camera Print E-mail
Wednesday, 05 March 2008

Thurs. March 6

Romance is in the air. Tales of romance, at the very least. This is at Finale Dessert Company in Brookline's Coolidge Corner tonight. And just telling your story - of how you and your s.o. got together - could win you tickets and VIP treatment to a Huntington Theatre production of "She Loves Me." The show is up May 16 - June 15, and its the Huntington's artistic director Nicholas Martin's last production. But what about you and Finale? What's happening is a film crew from the Huntington will be there from 8- 10 p.m. and will shoot a video of your story, which they'll later post on their website, www.huntingtheatre.org. Then - and you knew this was coming - web visitors will vote on their favorite couple and that winning couple gets the Romantic Prize Package - dinner, gifts, tix to the show. In love? Finale's a great place for a drink and/or a dessert without any nudging, but this little nudge might make you want to make the trip. Because, as reality tv has and www.youtube.com have proven, everyone wants to be on air or on line. Here, at least, you're not going to have to talk about your most embarrassing moments or do something disgusting. All you need is love. Free to walk in, of course, drinks and dessert will fall into the upper price range, but be well worth it. At least that's our experience.
